About the role

The Personal Assistant to the Group CEO will be responsible for managing all administrative, operational and hospitality functions associated with the CEO’s Office.

This role involves managing all day-to-day administrative tasks as directed by the CEO, providing general assistance to the CEO, handling of the CEO’s expense reporting, organising meetings (including preparation of agendas and taking minutes), drafting documents and presentations, coordinating the CEO’s travel schedule, booking the CEO’s travel, assisting in ad hoc and divergent projects, disseminating information from the CEO’s Office and ensuring the CEO’s Office is presentable at all times.

About You

  • You have 2+ years experience in an administration role, preferably as a dedicated PA or EA.
  • You’re attentive to detail and have an ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • You’re highly proficient in the use of cloud-based software programs, including G Suite.
  • You operate with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’re able to meet deadlines and work with multiple stakeholders.
  • You have a confident yet gracious communication style.
  • You possess, or would be successful in obtaining a Working with Children Check and National Criminal History.
  • You have a servant heart, vibrant Christian faith and are actively involved in your local church.

About CEM

The Human Resources (HR) Manager will be responsible for the HR function across Christian Education Ministries (CEM), which employs more than 500 staff in our national office, schools, childcare centres and home schooling organisation. CEM is located on the Central Coast of NSW (Erina).

About the role

Due to the continued growth of CEM, we require a suitably qualified HR generalist to take responsibility for supervising day-to-day HR functions and policies across Christian Education Ministries (CEM).

This role would involve the management of WHS policies, staff recruitment and handling of redundancies and terminations. In addition, the role will be responsible for coordinating training and performance management in collaboration with senior management while displaying a good Christian testimony to staff, contractors and suppliers.

About You

  • You have 3+ years of experience as a HR professional.
  • You have suitable HR qualifications.
  • You have knowledge and experience with HR best practices in the areas of recruitment, WHS policies, employment law, training and performance management.
  • You’re proficient in the use of cloud-based software programs.
  • You’re able to meet deadlines and work with multiple stakeholders.
  • You possess a capacity to work within a dynamic team.
  • You have a confident yet gracious communication style.
  • You possess, or would be successful in obtaining a Working with Children Check and National Criminal History.

Christian Education Ministries Pty Ltd (CEM) oversees 10 Colleges within Australia, an Online Learning program, Home Schooling program, as well as 3 Early Learning Centers (ELC). CEM head office is located on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW (Erina)

About the role

We are seeking a Full-time Architect to be responsible for managing a range of building and design projects within CEM, we require someone who displays excellent communication skills and who is competent using cloud-based technologies to assist our Schools and ELC’s remotely, this role would involve being part of a team to design, develop and oversee a range of educational facilities, with often multiple projects running concurrently. It will also consist of drafting plans and gaining council approvals while displaying a good Christian testimony to staff, contractors, suppliers and customers. You will be required to travel interstate to the project sites when necessary.

About You

  • You have suitable architecture qualifications with 3+ years of experience as an architect
  • You have advanced project management skills with the ability to take a job from initial concept to completion.
  • You’re proficient in the use of CAD software.
  • You have strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • You’re able to meet deadlines and work with multiple stakeholders.
  • You possess a sound understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
  • You possess, or would be successful in obtaining: Working with Children Check and National Criminal History.
