Christian Education Ministries Ltd (CEM) is a non-denominational not-for-profit education company located on the Central Coast (Erina), NSW. CEM provides corporate and financial services to schools, home-schooling families and childcare centres nationwide.

About the role

An opportunity exists to work in the Business & Finance team who are passionate about Christian education and using their abilities with the latest in accounting technology to deliver financial services to customers, suppliers, staff and CEM across the nation.

This full-time position is to start immediately.

About you

  • Suitable administration, accounting or business experience.
  • Capacity to work within a dynamic team.
  • Confident in the use of technology.
  • Possess, or would be successful in obtaining a Working with Children Check.
  • Servant heart, vibrant Christian faith, and are actively involved in your local church.

Skills & Competencies

  • Confident in using cloud-based applications and familiar with modern technology.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with data entry, accounting systems and spreadsheets.
  • Bookkeeping experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and payroll processing.
  • Ability to maintain an energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic work ethic.

About the role

If you're looking to advance your ICT skills, work across a diversity of technologies and acquire more expertise as you go, then you're invited to consider this exciting opportunity. CEM pioneers many unique and best of breed technologies you will gain exposure and experience with.

The ICT Support Officer Role contributes to the mission of CEM by supporting and maintaining the ICT needs of A School located in the hunter region. It will be based at Medowie Christian College, providing onsite support to the students and staff.

This full-time role will commence immediately, based at the CEM Erina office, and will be reporting directly to the Group ICT Manager.

A typical week in this role would include:

  • Providing general support to end-users and solving their computing problems in a timely manner or effectively triaging their issues.
  • Supporting software and applications, telecommunications and data services for the school.
  • Assisting in maintaining CEM’s ICT infrastructure, equipment and facilities.
  • Management of user accounts within the various online learning platforms.
  • Providing ICT support to the Group ICT Manager across the CEM Group.

  • You will be a great communicator with high levels of customer service
  • Have a can do attitude and be willing to learn and stretch yourself
  • Be familiar with Apple platforms, and able to support them

As a not-for-profit, non-denominational, faith-based organisation Christian Education Ministries (CEM) is involved in various aspects of education, including the delivery of school support services, developing curriculum, operating early learning centres and helping home schoolers. The organisation manages five distinct brands: Australian Christian College, Medowie Christian School, Brightwaters Christian College, Australian Christian Home Schooling and SmartPlay Early Learners.

About the role

The Senior Marketing Officer will be responsible for implementing a range of marketing campaigns and initiatives (including but not limited to media publicity, thought leadership, word of mouth, SEO and social media) aimed at driving enrolment growth across the brands.

This role would involve writing marketing plans and being part of a team who designs, codes, films, photographs and implements a range of projects from billboard installations to social media campaigns.

About You

  • You’ll have proven strategic and operational marketing skills gained through 5+ years of experience in a B2C services environment.
  • You’ll show evidence of successful digital marketing initiatives, such as SEO, content marketing and/or social media.
  • You’ll have intermediate to advanced copywriting skills.
  • You’ll hold tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related discipline.
  • You’re confident using cloud-based technologies.
  • You’re able to meet deadlines, are highly organised and able to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • You’ll have a confident yet gracious communication style.
  • You’ll have a servant heart, vibrant Christian faith and are actively involved in your local church.
