Student learning with mum

Distance education delivers the same education as a regular school, except it is delivered via laptop to the student who is usually at home.

Students interact with teachers, chat with other students, watch lessons and do exams all from their laptop. It is not home-schooling at all.

Home-schooling is where the parents takes responsibility for teaching their children. Distance Education is where the student is in a class and taught by a teacher using technology as the interface.

Many of our students are actually living very close to regular schools, so the term “Distance Education” is a hangover from years past where alternative options to School were needed for children in remote areas.

Many parents believe online distance education offers "the best of both worlds" - the safety of the family home and support from qualified teachers.
